Bumper weekend on the TV for Britain's hockey fans

British hockey fans are in for a treat this weekend with the sport breaking through on to two major broadcast channels.

The BBC will be covering Great Britain women's weekend Champions Trophy matches live from Rosario, Argentina on 'Red Button'.

GB play Japan at 6pm Saturday and world number one side the Netherlands at 6pm, Sunday. If you watch Red Button via Freeview, this coverage will be limited - check the BBC schedules below. Coverage of the FIH Champions Trophy continues during the week.

On Sunday, the Maxifuel Super Sixes indoor finals from Wembley will be shown live from 3pm to 6pm on Sky Sports England men’s indoor coach Andy Halliday and Olton & West Warwicks’ England indoor captain Denise Marston-Smith will be the studio guests while Nick Irvine, three times Olympic goalkeeper Simon Mason and double Olympian Mel Clewlow will be in the commentary box.

Canterbury’s Abi Walker replaced Reading’s Beth Storry to play in the final, whilst Storry’s club teammate Helen Richardson stepped back into the team with Natalie Seymour sitting the game out.
