Indoor world cup starts Tuesday February 8

The indoor hockey world cup starts in Poznan, on Tuesday 8 February.
PUSH arrived in Poland on Monday morning. Unfortunately we couldn't yet get access to the venue – so nothing to report on the arenas so far. Poznan is a beautiful open city with a fairytale central square and wide boulevards radiating out from the heart of the town. And it is mercifully quiet after London.

Attard does anterior cruciate ligament

The Hockeyroos have been dealt a blow to their current World Cup and Commonwealth Games campaigns, today confirming that key defender Teneal Attard had ruptured her ACL during last night’s World Cup match against the Netherlands in Argentina.
The news is particularly devastating for Attard, as it is her third ACL injury, having only returned to the squad 12 months ago from a separate ACL injury on her left knee.
Hockeyroos coach Frank Murray said that while losing Attard is disappointing for the team, it will give others an opportunity to step up at the World Cup.

Kiwi starlet Samantha Harrison has forsaken her blonde look from the Champions Trophy (left) for something a whole lot darker at the world cup. So which is the better look for her, blonde bombshell or Blackstick brunette?
