World player of the year Luciana Aymar worked her magic for Argentina, but goals from Hannah MacLeod (FG, 13 mins) and a PC deflection from Alex Danson 17 minutes into the second half took England to a 2-0 lead. Las Leonas finally broke through with a low PC flick from Marilyn Agliotti with fifteen minutes to go. That came after a string of fine saves from Storry, including beating out two-first-half penalty corners.
