PUSH 27 is coming soon

Push issue 27 went to the printers this morning and it should be hitting your doormat in the next week or so.
For this issue we have done what we think is the world's first 'blind' stick test. We've taken hockey sticks from all the top makers and painted them black. We've then given the disguised hockey sticks to a top team of testers &ndash what comes out on top, well you'll have to buy the mag to find out!
This is also one of the most 'international' Pushes we have produced for a while. We've stories from Germany, Argentina, New Zealand, the United States and of course coverage of England's Champions Trophy medals. Photographer Andy Smith was with us all week at Nottingham Champions Trophy and we think his pictures have really captured the excitement and action of a major international tournament – well done mate!
The women's World Cup starts in Rosario in little over a week ndash; so we have details of all the pools and what our English women can expect to find in Argentina. Emma Royce is just back from a hockey tour in Argentina, including playing in Rosario. She has written us a fantastic piece that captures the magic of Argentina and Argentinian Hockey – read it it really is the next best thing to going!
Speaking of going, I'm lucky enough to have the tough job of heading to Rosario to cover the cup for Push. Should be interesting as the only Spanish I know came from watching Fawlty Towers as a kid...
Anyway we have created a special area of the Push website – see /events/womens-world-cup-2010 for all the latest news.
Also in Push 27, we have a very candid interview with England/GB skipper Barry Middleton – so make sure your subscription is up to date!
