EHL Finals weekend in Amsterdam 25-27 May

Europe’s best club hockey teams play off in Amsterdam, The Netherlands next weekend. The men battle for the EHL crown and the women compete for the EHCCC title.

Euro Hockey League finals tickets are on sale

The Euro Hockey League (EHL) and the European Hockey Federation (EHF) have announced that tickets for the men’s EHL final four and the women’s EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (EHCCC) final four are now available for purchase via our online ticket sales site

The event takes place from May 25-27, 2012 in the famous Wagener stadium in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 

EHL finals go to Amsterdam

The Euro Hockey League (EHL) has announced that Amsterdam H&BC’s Wagener Stadium in The Netherlands will be the venue for the semi finals and finals of the 2011/12 season. 
  
The final phase of the competition features the four remaining teams. UHC Hamburg (GER), KHC Dragons (BEL), H.C. Rotterdam (NED) and host club Amsterdam H&BC will battle for the EHL crown. The Final Four will be played over the Whitsun weekend from Saturday 26 until Sunday May 27, 2012. 
  

England's club sides fall in the EHL quarter finals

To add to the disappointment, England's qualifiers for the women's top-level club competition, the European Club Champions Cup, also crashed out. Leicester and Reading, both minus their GB squad players, finished last in their pool competitions in Spain and Belgium respectively. 

Back in the men's EHL, the Belgian champions KHC Dragons defeated Reading 3-1 after a 1-1 draw in normal time on Monday. East Grinstead also lost on Monday, 3-1 to hosts Rotterdam.

Monday’s quarter finals see East Grinstead facing Rotterdam with KHC Dragons taking on Reading.
 
KO16 host H.C. Rotterdam had given away a convincing 4-0 lead against German runners-up Uhlenhorst Mülheim.

Amsterdam and Bloemendaal set up all Dutch quarter final; Beeston to play Uhlenhorster

Bloemendaal knocked out the Spanish champions Atletic Terrassa 4-3 on day 1 of the KO16 in Rotterdam.

Europe calls for England's hockey clubs

England's top hockey clubs face a busy 2012 Easter weekend with rounds of the Euro Hockey League (men) and European Club Champions Cup (women) ahead.

English men's champions Beeston (@OfficialBeeHC) play Spain's Club de Campo at 8.30am UK time on Friday in Rotterdam (9.30am local) in an EHL round of 16 clash. A win would see them play UHC Hamburg (GER) or another Spanish side RC Polo de Barcelona at 11am Sunday, UK time (12noon in Rotterdam), for a place in the quarter finals.

H.C. ROTTERDAM NAMED AS HOST CLUB FOR EURO HOCKEY LEAGUE'S SHOWPIECE KO16 EVENT

EHLThe European Hockey Federation announce that H.C. Rotterdam (NED) will be the host club for KO16 of the 2011/12 season. 

KHC DRAGONS STEAL THE HEADLINES ON FINAL DAY OF ROUND 1.2

A wonderful Round 1.2 tournament in Brasschaat came to an end on Sunday, and it was the host club KHC Dragons that stole the headlines. 

An overtime penalty corner from Loick Luypaert sank former EHL finalists H.C. Rotterdam and sent the home fans wild.  It was not such good news for compatriots Racing Club de Bruxelles, who fell to defeat against Edi Tubau's Club de Campo and therefore missed out on reaching the EHL knock-out stages. Full reports and highlights can be found on the EHL website.
