Germany celebrates double gold in Poznan

Germany's men have retained their indoor world cup hockey title with  a 3-2 extra time win over hosts Poland. Earlier the German women also won a world title with a 4-2 win over the Netherlands.

Benjamin Wess scored the golden goal winner for the Germans in the fourth minute of extra time, tidying up after a shot from Moritz Furste. Earlier Poland had follwed their tournament pattern of racing to an early lead, through Dariusz Rachwalski and Thomas Gorny, then defending resolutely.
