England play New Zealand in Champions Trophy wooden spoon game 9.30pm Saturday UK time
MELBOURNE, December 8 - Following the first round of classification matches England will play against New Zealand in the seventh place playoff at the Champions Trophy on Sunday (Saturday in the UK).
The match follows England’s 4-0 defeat to Belgium and New Zealand’s 6-4 defeat to Olympic Champions Germany.
The game is at 9.30pm (Saturday, UK time) and will be streamed live on www.fih.livesport.tv.
The final - Netherlands vs Australia will be shown at 5am Sunday (UK time).
In the world young player of the year awards (where England’s Harry Martin was shortlisted), Germany’s Florian Fuchs picked up the prize. Fuchs’s teammate Moritz Fuerste was named FIH world player of the year.
