Ten players from four years ago still form part of the team: goalkeeper Quico Cortés, Juan Fernández, Ramón Alegre, Sergi Enrique, David Alegre, Roc Oliva, Edi Tubau, Pol Amat, Alex Fábregas and captain Santi Freixa.
For Amat it will be his fifth Olympic Games.

The P accreditations for substitute players will go to Andrés Mir and goalkeeper Xavi Trenchs, with the latter having already had the P athlete role in Beijing.
