Parnham will relocate to Chula Vista, California with his wife, Emma, in early February.

“This is a wonderful opportunity and a new challenge for me,” said Parnham. “I think Team USA has a great deal of potential and I look at this as an opportunity for me to come in and make a big impact. I am excited to get out on the pitch and start working with the players on the team.”

Ready, steady, go: Anita Punt - hockeyimages.co.ukNEW ZEALAND, January 10 - Black Sticks hockey player Anita Punt will put her speedy reputation on the line at the Christchurch International Track Meet next month.

Punt has been confirmed as a wildcard entry for the grass-track meet at Christ's College on February 2.

The Hockey New Zealand website lists Punt as ""the speedster in the Black Sticks squad, with her times over 10m rating in the top eight of the men's squad."

NEW DELHI, November 26 - The Hockey India League has been delayed by two weeks. The player auction will now take place on December 16 with the leage to run from January 17 to February 17, 2013.

DELHI, November 9 - Christmas will be coming early for some hockey stars with the Hockey India League player auction set for December 1.

Run on similar lines to the IPL cricket player auctions, international stars such as the Alegre brothers from Spain, Jamie Dwyer and a host of other Australians have already put their names in the hat. German London 2012 gold medallists Mortiz Fuerste and Oliver Korn will also go under the hammer.
